-The EV1813 powered home theater subwoofer is a perfect choice for the bass enthusiast. Designed to accurately reproduce source material at extremely high levels, the EV1813 delivers concussive output during the most intense action movie, and accurate musical definition like you've never heard from a vented subwoofer.
-The EV1813 subwoofer is powered by a 1920W RMS (4300W PEAK) built-in amplifier with ICEpower® audio technology. A DSP based feature board includes the essential controls to properly integrate the subwoofer into your system.
-The MDF enclosure is heavily braced and assembled with rabbet joints for strong structural integrity. The enclosure is finished with a non-reflective and extremely durable textured material. An acoustically transparent fabric grille covers the front-firing 18 inch subwoofer driver. Just below the driver on the front baffle is the high flow slot port with an edge radius. The amplifier is mounted on the rear baffle.
-The EV1813 contains a single 18 inch neodymium subwoofer driver from B&C in Italy that was developed exclusively for PSA. This new woofer technology is based on a dual voice coil motor design with extraordinary motor strength, thermal handling, and sensitivity.

"My EV18 shook the Christmas knik-knaks off of a shelf in the downstairs bathroom. My wife wasn't pleased...I was." -musicbliss

"I had the older V1801s which are probably pretty similar to the new EV18's , prior to the V18's I had the V1500s which were tuned a bit lower than the V18s but not as low as the new TV15's....Ill tell you what , in my old living room which was a similar size to yours , the EV18's absolutely kicked in the chest...Way more than the V15's...the V15's had a more overall better sound , but the V18's just had a presence to them that was hard to replicate even today with my TV21's...Although the 21's are in a much bigger space now , it would be interesting if I could throw them in my old room to see how they compare...But yes , losing a couple HZ down low isnt really a deal breaker mainly because there isnt a whole lot of content below 20hz and even less below 16hz..You will enjoy those Ev18's!!!!" -dieged9

"Tom suggested another brand when i was in the market to buy a sub. I did months of research, comparing, viewing measurements, blah, blah. In the end, I went with Tom/PSA due to the posts speaking of how awesome the product & company is, speaking & emailing Tom with questions and fan loyalty to the product. I am SO glad that I pulled the trigger on 'blind faith'. My EV18 is absolutely amazing." -musicbliss

"Finally got my EV1813 M setup and ..... just.... wow! I have a large living room with vault ceilings in an open floor plan that connects to my dining room and kitchen. No idea what the cubic feet is but its a lot. And I only had one location to put the sub due to WAF - in the corner to the right of my TV. Despite the less than ideal environment, and running without any room correction (disabled Audyssey but kept the speaker distances/sizes/crossovers) - this thing is incredible! My kids were watching The Incredibles last night and the LFE in some scenes had my couch shaking - honestly never experienced bass like this outside of a theater." -TheOtherMike7
