-The S3012 home audio powered subwoofer delivers a potent combination of extreme extension and violent mid and upper bass “slam”. Look no further if you demand the most powerful sealed subwoofer anywhere near this price point.

-The S3012 subwoofer is powered by a 1920W RMS (4300W PEAK) built-in amplifier with ICEpower® audio technology. A DSP based feature board includes the essential controls to properly integrate the subwoofer into your system.

-The MDF enclosure is heavily braced and assembled with rabbet joints for strong structural integrity. The enclosure is finished with a non-reflective and extremely durable textured material. Two acoustically transparent fabric grilles cover each side-firing 15 inch subwoofer driver. The amplifier is mounted on the rear baffle.

-The S3012 contains two 15 inch Neo motor wooofers from B&C in Italy. With class leading thermal handing, motor strength, and inductance considerations you are assured of powerful and accurate bass reproduction.

"I received my S3012 in American Cherry during the week. It's an absolute stunning piece of equipment! The finish is indeed far nicer in person than any picture (as constantly repeated here), and the color was a precise match to the chip Tom sent. This was the ultimate solution for performance:WAF for me, as I was able to hide it as an end table. I cut and stained a tabletop with some rubber pads in between, since I didn't want to put anything directly on the veneer and risk scratching, etc. I tried a few scenes and tracks and was pretty blown away coming from a Bic F12. A high quality sub like this truly does add a brand new layer to the soundtrack. Is it bad if I already want a 2nd?" -joshf52

"Got my (2) S3012's dialed in with my Funk 21.0L and fired up Moonfall.......just. Wow. The mid bass I have been missing out on since the 21.0L has a massive null at my seat from 60-90Hz (due to position which I couldnt movr) is back. LFE was full bodied but not bloated and made the movie enjoyable for the pure sound/popcorn flick feel. Also helps both the S3012's are directly behind and to each side of my MLP. " -BuckeyeAmps

"My room is 14 x 25 with 8 foot ceilings (Pictures below show my old subs but this was just to give you an idea of the room size/layout). I absolutely LOVE the sound of these S3012s. I have a long post on this site about going from SVS PB16's to PSA TV21's to PSA S3012's for more info. The S3012's are beautiful looking with the espresso wood veneer. The sound is extremely tight and detailed. I think that if you simply plug and play, you may feel they do not dig as deep if you are used to ported subs...however, with some simple adjustments such as DiractLive, or especially if you have a MiniDSP HD, you can made the adjustments needed to really focus on those LFE ranges (I'm a movie guy so that is my cup of tea)...they can really dig deep and sound so much better and can play deeper than my SVS PB16's. You may see in my signature that I also have an older S3600i...but that is just because I found it super cheap so I couldn't pass it up and it simply helps smooth out all my listening positions...I can turn that off and the sound I'm talking about is the same just from the S3012's." -Brent Bender

"About 18 months ago I was saving my money so I could buy the S3012. I really did not see any sub in the market that was as compact as the S3012, have so much output and have such a great warranty. Then Tom put one in the outlet and I could not pass it up? I have no doubt that the new matt cabinets are great, but to me the high-quality Ohio made satin cabinet for the S3012 is like a work of art. Tom, thank you again for the great deal on such a powerful and compact subwoofer, although I never have been able to find the “blemish” you marked it down for in the first place.:)..." -mhl
