"Why is my title, “Say hello to my little friend”? Well, like the scene in Scarface, pulling out the S2112 is like pulling out a very big gun. Or if you prefer to paraphrase Crocodile Dundee, “You call that a subwoofer…This is a subwoofer.” (At the end of the same review) Just for those that don’t want to read all the above: Rating: 5/5" -bargugl

"Finally joining the PSA family after years of following! A pair of S2112 has me in bass bliss. I haven't dialed them in completely, but I've had a chance to listen some. What can be said that hasn't already been said? They are astonishing in their capability and effortlessness. Much like running cinema speakers at home, the pair of S2112 in my space are perfectly overkill (no such thing right?). Like asking if a Shelby GT500 has enough muscle to get up to speed on an on-ramp, these subs are just coasting even with challenging material. Listening to very capable subs before, my reaction was "wow, those are really powerful subs" but now with the S2112 my reaction is more like being scared/startled by the bass. If you've ever been close to a really large dump truck or heavy machinery -- the sound isn't necessarily super loud, but the power of the sound goes through you and can startle you. That's what these subs are like. For some PSA fan insight, Tom recommended for my space & constraints, in order, a pair of: S2112 > EV1813 > S1813. I'm really glad I just went for it. Time to fire up more demo material!" -richard11

"I got my S2112m 2 hours ago. Just moved it into place and hooked it up. Good thing I lift weights, this ****er is HEAVY. I started playing a few random music concerts I have, didn't hear any change. Went into my Pioneer Elite SC's settings, changed speakers to small, verified that it detected that a sub was plugged in. Loaded up Dune. In the words of Keanu Reeves "whoa". My front three Ascend Sierra-1's go slightly below 40hz -+3db, so I play movies at -20db, and there is good base. Today I was playing at -28db and it was louder than any movie theater I've ever been in, with the sub around half volume and medium room size. The S2112m fits perfectly under my corner desk (cable management is not my strength). Now I need to go into the receiver's settings and properly set this up, because if I keep playing at this level, I won't be able to hear anything for long." -mmcmillan
